Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with the details you give us when you order from Shiv Bombay Vadapav, 11 Tippen Court, Watford WD19 7EH. We are responsible for your information. Questions: email contact@shivbombayvadapav.co.uk or call 07500 659059.
What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, so we can make your order and confirm it with you.
- Your email address, if you give it, so we can send you a copy of your order.
- Your delivery address and postcode, if you choose delivery.
- What you ordered, when you want it, and any notes you add, such as allergies.
Why we use it
We use your details only to make, confirm, deliver and keep a record of your order. The law allows this because we need the details to do what you asked us to do. We don't send marketing, and we never sell or share your details with anyone for their own use.
Who else handles it
- Our web host (Namecheap) stores the website and your order on its servers, and carries our order emails.
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you send us your order on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy covers that message.
How long we keep it
We keep order details for as long as we need them for our accounts (HMRC expects businesses to keep records for up to six years), then delete them.
Cookies
We don't use cookies or tracking. Your browser remembers what is in your order on this device so it isn't lost if you refresh the page. That stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email or call us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
